ONLY ONE AVAILABLE
This is a second hand Heavin Forge anvil in immaculate condition, currently earning her keep every day in the Black Dragon Forge shop.
We are only letting her go to make space for a bigger anvil. Why? Because Neels said so. Apparently we are “not allowed” to have more than 10 anvils in the shop. Management has spoken. Sigh.
New, this anvil sells for around R14 740. We are asking R8 500 for her.
About the Heavin Forge Anvil
Designed by legendary Master Bladesmiths Kevin and Heather Harvey, this anvil was cast right here in South Africa. Only a limited number were ever produced, each proudly carrying the Heavin Forge logo.
It is made from a carbon alloy steel formulated specifically for hard, tough anvils, and is hardened to around 52 HRC, which gives excellent energy return when you are working.
This anvil is ideal for bladesmiths and farriers. A bending fork is built into the side of the anvil to make fine tuning scrolls and horseshoes a lot easier. The hardy hole is just over 20 mm and the pritchel hole is 12 mm.
What is included
- The Heavin Forge anvil
- The anvil stand as shown in the photos, with built in hammer rack and base tray
What is not included: the hammer and brush in the photo. Those are staying here, otherwise Neels will start hiding the rest of the tools as well.
